Despite the grey skies, Milton Keynes’ 2nd Soapbox Derby had a fantastic turnout to watch 42 teams and kart entrants race along Midsummer Boulevard to the finish line. Our super ramp did its job in giving the karts plenty of rev for the duration of the course, helped along by the large turnout of cheering crowds who supported the contestants. Trophies were given out to the best karts in three categories; Quest For Shoes Charity Kart won the under 14s gong, MYMK won best adult kart and Mirus won the trophy in the Overall Business Charity. In additon to being a fun family event, plenty of much needed cash was raised for the Cancer Ward at Milton Keynes Hospital. So a successful day all round.
